Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced during a press conference on Wednesday they already identified the infamous woman who argues with several traffic enforcers over illegal parking and driving without driver’s license.

During the press conference, MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia announced that the couple is working in the Department of Justice (DOJ) and they said that Menardo Guevarra already told them that they’re going to take action against their employee.

“Nalaman namin yung trabaho niya kung saan, so we write Secretary Menardo Guevarra, pinayagan naman niya akong magsalita.. nagkausap kami kaninang umaga at sabi nila i forward namin yung letter sa kanya and they will take action,” Garcia said

“Sana maging aral na po ito sa atin, simple traffic violation lang po wag na po tayong makipag away, bigay niyo lang po yung lisensya niyo bibigyan kayo ng ticket tapos na,” he added.

The legal team of MMDA also filed a complaint against Prosecutor Christine Estepa.

They’re also studied “other cases” that can be filed against the couple.

The couple will face cases for direct assault against MMDA enforcers,

“Based on the testimony of our traffic enforcers, the MMDA service vehicle was damaged, nung tinangkang tumakas nitong si Prosecutor Estepa, and at the same time muntik na pong masagasan ang ating mgatraffic enforcer,” the MMDA legal team said.

The legal team also explained that the prosecutor committed a criminal offense so they could face imprisonment, there’s also a possibility that she can be disbarred.

“She’s a lawyer there’s also a possibility that we can also file a case for disbarment before the Integrated Bar of the Philippines,” he said.

MMDA legal team also said that the couple could file a case against them if the enforcers harassed them during the incident.

MMDA also sent a recommendation to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to suspend the driver’s license of the couple over the incident.

Aside from MMDA, the enforcers who got threatened and almost rammed by the couple could also file a separate complaint against them.

MMDA Special Operations Commander Edison Bong Nebrija also told the media that everyone became emotional during the incident.

Garcia also said that Nebrija was right for not letting the couple to escape.

“Yan ang nagpapatupad ng batas na may puso,” Garcia said.
