Senator Panfilo Lacson took a swipe at Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar for apparently misleading the public that President Duterte’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) would be a tearjerker.
In contrast, the President delivered a long, candid and at times funny speech that outlined his plans and priorities in the next six years before a joint session of Congress.
“‘I read the speech, it made me cry.”… We listened to the speech, it made us laugh,” Lacson tweeted.
On the of the President’s SONA, Andanar told reporters that the President’s powerful speech was 38 minutes long. When he read the speech, the former TV5 news anchor said it made him cry.
“I read the speech, it made me cry.”… We listened to the speech, it made us laugh.
