WATCH: Erwin Tulfo shows what’s inside the ₱160,000 Marawi Temporary Shelter

Erwin Tulfo of PTV News, visited one of the sample units of the shelters planned to be build for the people of Marawi and according NHA, it only costs ₱160,000, compared to the temporary shelter made for the Yolanda typhoon victims that costs almost ₱800,000 each.

According to the report of PTV News, the size of the houses are 22 sqm, compared to the size of the Yolanda houses which only has a size of 10-12 sqm.

While the Yolanda shelters were only made by light materials like coco lumber and plywood, the Marawi shelters are made of galvanized steel plates.
