Why PNoy rejected pay hike for nurses

datingsider på nett A Malacañang official on Saturday explained why President Benigno Aquino III has vetoed a proposed law that seeks to raise the minimum salary of nurses to almost P25,000.
In an interview with the state-run dzRB, Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. cited three main points why Aquino’s veto is reasonable.

Sør-Trøndelag Coloma also pointed out that nurses are in demand abroad but should have the adequate experience and specialization like ICU (intensive care) nurses.

Lastly, he noted that the government has done measures to improve the salary of nurses, teachers, and other government workers

“Maaring maabot na inaasam na mas mataas na sahod kung maayos ang trabaho dahil sa bagong oryentasyon sa pamahalaan na performance-based compensation,” the official said.
